Mr. P.M. Koh  graduated as a chemical engineer from Aston University, UK. 

He  began his professional career with the Oils & Fats industry in  various European multinational engineering companies.  During a span of more than 20 years in these companies, he was involved in the areas of design, project management,  plant start-up & commissioning  before moving finally to managing the business for  Oils & Fats sales and engineering in these companies. Mr. Koh is also a leading pioneer in the commercialization of the palm oil biodiesel process.  

Dr. K.Y. Cheah , Chief Executive Officer, Lipochem Bio-Tech Sdn. Bhd.

Dr. Cheah  obtained his  Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering  from the University of Cambridge, UK.  

He has worked as a Petroleum Refining Technologist in the Shell Petroleum Company ( Singapore),  a Research Officer in Malaysian Palm Oil Board ( MPOB ) and  finally  as  Head of Palm Oil Milling and Palm Oil Processing Unit  in  MPOB.

Dr. Cheah has  more than 25 years of experience conducting R&D in the evaluation and production of biodiesel from palm oil. He is also the author and co-author of 20 publications and holds 11 patents.

Mr. L.M. Tan , Project Consultant, Lipochem (M) Sdn. Bhd.

Mr. L.M. Tan  graduated as a production engineer with a B. Eng (Hons) Prod. Eng. from Nottingham University, U.K.

He has worked as Production Manager  in Felda Oil Products for 14 years, Senior Manager   in Precision Industry for 6 years and as Production Manager in German Clay Products for 4 years.

He has more than 20 years of experience in oils & fats manufacturing, palm oil refining plants and multi feedstock biodiesel plants.
He has managed and commissioned many physical refining, fractionation and biodiesel plants undertaken by Lipochem.

Mr. K.H. Kuan, General Manager – Project and Service, Lipochem Bio-Tech Sdn. Bhd.

Mr. K.H. Kuan graduated as a Chemical Engineer with a B. Sc (Chem Eng) from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology UMIST, UK.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the oils and fats industry involving in the operation of palm oil refining, fractionation and margarine plants, soya bean crushing and extraction plants in Malaysia and Indonesia.

Ms. X. Z. Tan graduated as a Chemical Engineer with a M. Sc (Chem Eng) from Lyon Engineering School of Chemistry, Physics and Electronics in France. She has more than 10 years of experience in process plants sales to the oils & fats industry such as palm oil refineries and biodiesel plants.
